Names

I’m somewhere around half way through writing a book, and I just realised I still don’t have a name for it. Sometimes, names are hard.

  1. what is book about? I may have a suggestion or two

    • It’s the next Princeps Venator book. I don’t think I’m giving away too much in saying it involves a magician, because that was teased fairly heavily in the last book. There are a few other things which I won’t say anything about, since that’s a surprise.

  3. Vampire Magic?

  4. How about Arcane Transfusions, or Circles of Blood (or Circles of Sanguine if you want to get edgy)

  5. Theres always the option of going with the highly original and creative title of “Book 3”.

  6. Okay… I KNEW I like this group. Monty Python will never get old.

  7. Bonus points if you have the Holy Grail release with the video instructions on how to use your DVD case as a self-flagellation device like the monks who smash planks into the foreheads AND you actually did it.

Okay, so it has nothing to do with what you’re actually writing, but a book’s almost certainly a best seller with a title like that!

  13. Thanks for the suggestions. I’m going with ‘Blood Magic.’ Not inspired, but it covers the concept nicely.

  14. How about “Bloody magic” So many meanings.

  15. So what’s Nighthawk?

  16. Ok, Twill. So I’m going to assume it’s something new you’re not quite ready to define. But now you’ve just made us more curious. Which was probably your intent… You are evil you know.
