I’m somewhere around half way through writing a book, and I just realised I still don’t have a name for it. Sometimes, names are hard.
Names

what is book about? I may have a suggestion or two
It’s the next Princeps Venator book. I don’t think I’m giving away too much in saying it involves a magician, because that was teased fairly heavily in the last book. There are a few other things which I won’t say anything about, since that’s a surprise.
Magic Bites? Magic Sucks? (ok, not really)
Say goodnight Gracie?
Magic Bites has been done, IIRC. Still, I smirked.
Vampire Magic?
How about Arcane Transfusions, or Circles of Blood (or Circles of Sanguine if you want to get edgy)
Theres always the option of going with the highly original and creative title of “Book 3”.
That’s what it’s called at the moment!
“Four shalt thou not title, neither title thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three.”
“Five is right out”
Okay… I KNEW I like this group. Monty Python will never get old.
I only have 1 thing to say.
‘NI!’
Bonus points if you have the Holy Grail release with the video instructions on how to use your DVD case as a self-flagellation device like the monks who smash planks into the foreheads AND you actually did it.
Um, am I the ONLY one who did that?
I even did the chant. (Didn’t jump off anything tho)
No, not the only one…
How about meddling with mages? Shortened version of the Tolkien quote?
Bloody Mages.
Just a Flesh Wound.
Manhattan Magic.
Magic Mike?
/ducks and hides
Sorcery with some Blood
Wizardry and Blood
The Colour of Magic is Red
Magic(ian’s) Touch
A Kind of Magic(ian)
Lord of the Mages
Oddly, I recently rediscovered Queen’s A Kind of Magic and it went onto my playlist for writing vampire stuff.
I’m glad you got it. Do you know “Lord of the Ages”?
The only thing I can find by that name is a track by Magna Carta. If that’s what you’re talking about, then no, I don’t know it. If not, well, I don’t know it. 🙂
Abs of Steel on a Pizza Diet While Binge Watching GoT ….
Okay, so it has nothing to do with what you’re actually writing, but a book’s almost certainly a best seller with a title like that!
Thanks for the suggestions. I’m going with ‘Blood Magic.’ Not inspired, but it covers the concept nicely.
How about “Bloody magic” So many meanings.
So what’s Nighthawk?
That’s a very good question.
Ok, Twill. So I’m going to assume it’s something new you’re not quite ready to define. But now you’ve just made us more curious. Which was probably your intent… You are evil you know.
Yes. I am aware of that. 🙂
