I know. Or rather, yes, it’s too dark for a Kindle (or similar), but it’s the way I wanted it. I want the demon in particular to be a bit vague.
So, sorry, but the image is really for the web sites. *cringy emoji*
Ok, now my interest is piqued as to what the demons are up to. Now I have two of your series to wait upon with bated breath, not to mention your cyberpunk novel. All in all, thank you for a very enjoyable read. Looking forward to them all. Hope this finds you well, and not inundated with snow.
No snow. Don’t hold your breath for the cyberpunky thing. It turned out… not so good and needs a rework. I’m currently trying to figure out what will replace it.
Well, it happens, that story ideas don’t always pan out. As to something to replace it… maybe a continuation of the Titans storyline? Although that might be even more difficult to get started again.
The idea was fine. The execution sucked. I’m going back to that one.
Titans… I know where it’s supposed to go, but not enough of how to get there to make a book.
I thought I had the next Empress’s Mage book worked out, but plotting it out I’m not sure.
If all else fails, I’ll go wuxia. I’ve got what I think is a great concept for a wuxia-type story… Of course, I could be wrong about that too.
I am enjoying the heck out of this book. What I like about your covers is the style. I can spot one of your books in the middle of all the others. This is a good thing since Amazon will not tell me that one of my authors has a new book out even when I follow them.
Pardon me while I have a small self-deprecating laugh. I never thought I had any style at all. ๐
As for Amazon… Well, it’s Amazon. *shrug*
Is it worth me posting something here a bit earlier when I have a solid idea that the book will be out ‘soon?’ (Like a couple of days.)
A heads up is always nice so I can do a quick re-read of the previous book in the series, but it probably wonโt really help with the Amazon situation. Itโs usually a challenge to find the book available to download AFTER I read about it being released on witchesandrayguns (here). Takes Amazon an unpredictable and randomly variable time to make a book available after it is published for some reason. I beta read for a few authors, so I can see how much time there is between their posting a new book and being able to find it.
That’s partially my fault. I post when it’s available on Smashwords, but Amazon can take up to 72 hours(!!) to finish putting it online. Usually it’s not so long, but three or four of hours is normal. I update the page when it’s available in all territories, but I don’t know whether you’ll get a notification of that.
Just a quick note to say thanks for another great read. Looking forward to the next instalment.
I can definitely agree with Bob about notices from Amazon I donโt really get many. Unless its for a release on Amazon unlimited author. I tried it but gave it up as i did find many authors i liked us it and I couldnโt find anything i liked on it.
Quite enjoyed Demonscourge. So thanks for all the great reading over the years, may there be many more good stories to come. And of course Merry Christmas!
Yay! Good weekend incoming.
You weren’t kidding…. The new book would come in December and right on the first here it is!
Gr Cloak
I’d point out that that was pure chance, not brilliant planning. ๐
It started nicely… Unfortunately, the cover is too dark again. My reader only shows a black screen with a dark gray oval.

I thought we were voting on your next book, so this one is a surprise to see.
Did I miss something indicating this was in the queue?
Pretty sure I said this was next, then the one after that was what I was asking about. Might be wrong.

A wuxia-type story would definitely be interesting. I’m looking forward to reading what you come up with ultimately.
Art dump please ๐.
I’m not sure how much there is to do, but I’ll make a note to do it.

A heads up would be great for me. Does anyone else have a problem with tardy notices from Amazon?
