Halloween Pic

Well, it’s Halloween and I did this a couple of days ago, so here you go. What’s Halloween about a Red Riding Hood image? Check out her basket. Oh, and there’s the eyes…

The character (with a bit more hair) may be appearing in a future book, but she doesn’t usually wear this outfit. She may, at least sometimes, have those eyes.

  1. Very cool. The head in the basket is making me think of Warren Zevon. The hair and the glasses evoke his image and one of his album covers was a skull in those round sunglasses as well.

Happy Halloween to you as well!

    • I think it’s supposed to be grandma. Given the grey skin, possibly zombie grandma. The character I used is a necromancer, so zombie grandma does make sense.
Now I’m feeling like I should add that into the story…

  2. Always love Red Riding hood and love that corset design…

Ohh and I kind of like the ‘bald-look’ on her. But perhaps I’m just a bit weird that way…

    Gr Cloak

  3. The wolf turned out to be a hot werewolf and your gal and the wolf teamed up to off the woodsman. Hey if Ciri can get all hot and bothered with Michael why can’t Red.

    • One of the first ever LARP events I ever did (I had no clue what I was doing) had us out helping an ‘allied werewolf pack’ who were being slaughtered by a devilish LRRH with a scythe. Little Miss Muffet was found strung up on a wall with spider webs. The giant spider had laid eggs in her. That was a REALLY warped weekend. It was great…
No wonder I turned out like this.

  4. I blame going to Roman Catholic schools my entire education for some of my errr “ways”. Well, that and growing up in the swinging 60s.

  5. It almost seems that you have been watching “Reincarnated as a sword” and that is your version of Fran. You just need a sword (whip) possessed by a succubus to raise her propperly.

    • I have been watching that anime. I have also read the first couple of light novels. The anime’s better. Aside from anything else, it skipped the massively monotonous first part where the sword levels up and Fran isn’t even in the picture. And you don’t get the very, very, very long lists of skills and character stats in the anime. The anime is infinitely better.
The character above is for a LitRPG novel (but not an isekai), so it is kind of the same sort of story. Sort of.
But Fran is too wholesome to wear lace-topped stockings.
