Just Some Girls…

I’m still alive!

Just wanted to say that. Writing has been hard recently for various reasons. Partially it’s that I’ve had a lot of great ideas which I couldn’t get past about 20k words. I’m now working on the next Fallen book, but I’m not sure of an exact release date, partially because a family-related thing has just come up which might delay things. Before the end of the year is about all I can promise.

Anyway, above is a graphic I made because I bought this outfit and thought it would great on Nava. And then I thought it would look great on all the Death’s Handmaiden girls. And then I thought I’d put it up here. The full-sized version is wallpaper size, if you feel you need more girls in semi-revealing dresses in your life. Why, you may ask, is Mitsuko wearing a collar. Well, it’s because she has a really long neck. I looked at the result without the collar and decided she needed something to break up that long stretch of flesh from below her boobs up to her hairline. Aesthetic decision and nothing to do with my fetish for bondage gear. Really!

  1. Although Nava has dropped some hints about Suki’s preferences…

    • Hm. I recall Nava flustering Suki with a comment that she wouldn’t mind wearing a collar and being led around like a pet. That’s Nava wearing the collar. Of course, you can never tell when Nava’s just teasing…
There are the ropes that apparently exist in the Trenton apartment. No hints on who ties up whom, IIRC.

  2. “I’m still alive!”

That is very good to know! Though… did you know there is an author who actually had to make that statement a permanent fixture on his website?
Turns out there is another author with the same name who had passed away, and neither google or the general public is particular good at telling them apart. (And yes, fans have brought him books by the other author to sign… awkward)

In any case. The best of luck with writing, and I love the pic. Even though they all wear the same dress their individual touches show through in stance, footwear and attitude.

  3. Huzzah! You’re alive! Always a good sign. (Although being dead leads with the perks of not having to work or pay taxes.)

I’ll have to re-read Fallen in the near future, it seems. Though it will probably be after the next installment of Ascendance of a Bookworm. Also looking forward to more Nava, even if it’s going to be a bit of a wait.

    Good fortunes, and fair winds.

  4. Glad to hear you’re still alive and kicking. Hope your family situation works out for the best for all involved. Looking forward to the next Fallen book whenever you get it to us.

  5. I”ve been looking at your past artwork. I thought you did shots of Sam and Marie from the Fox series but I cannot seem to find them on your links.

    • Wow, you’re right, I’ve never posted Sam and Marie. I am surprised, to say the least. I’m not in a good position to fix that right now (family stuff), but I’ll flag it to get done at some point in the near future. I know I have the renders, I’ve just never posted them.
