And a Question…

If you haven’t read The Aquarian Incident yet. Stop reading now, and definitely don’t read the comments.

So, three posts in one night. I was not planning this. Anyway…

I was just wondering how many of you spotted the Dragonball reference. I have never watched any of the Dragonball series (and certainly never the film), which was why I figured I could get away with this one without explanation. It’s kind of surpassed anime culture. But I’d love to know how many people spotted it.

  1. I wasn’t sure if that was intentional or not to be honest. And now of course I know the truth of it.

  2. To which I respond β€œWhat Dragonball reference?”

    Totally missed it.

  3. I saw it, and immediately thought “so they still watch DBZ in the future then?”.

    • They’re probably still making it. I’d suggest the same is true of ‘One Piece,’ but that actually has an ending now. I figure there are still ‘Pokemon’ things going, and Ash Ketchum is still a kid. Oh, and Snoruto, great grandchild of Naruto, is still running with his arms behind his back.

  4. I am not familiar with Dragonball, so my answer is ‘no’ but can guess which bit you are referring to. It stuck out as being an in joke.

  5. Enjoyed the book. Amazon still does not show this on your author page. Kindle is still not showing the book as part of the series. Maybe a box didn’t get clicked?

  6. Never saw dragonball. I wonder when the high command of the ASF will be afraid that Nava might not like their little organization?

  7. I saw that reference and went ‘No… He didn’t. He couldn’t do that. Could he?’ and then ‘Yeah. Yeah, he did!’
You made me snicker. Not bad.
