The Girl Who Dreamed… Art Dump

Isekai Map 1

I’ve uploaded a load of images for the characters from ‘The Girl Who Dreamed…’ to ArtStation. Click on the map above to be taken there.

Included is the world map I built using Wonderdraft. It’s a program for building fantasy (and, I suppose, other types) maps for role-playing or whatever. The results aren’t bad and it’s fairly easy to use.

In other art news, I tried my hand at a simple animation recently. I may put it up somewhere at some point, though it’s not exactly great. 12 seconds of video at 1080p/30 fps resolution: 13 hours of rendering time.

In other writing news,  Death’s Handmaiden is going well. At this rate, it might get a sequel straight after because I can’t get the world out of my noggin. We’ll see.

  1. Ooooo… a map, very cool. 😛 The first thing I thought of when I saw this though, was “Now that he’s done this, maybe he could do one of the Demon Realm for The Other Side of Hell” Of all your other books, that one really cries out for something like this. Well I guess Iron Princess does too. If you enjoyed doing this one, maybe playing with it a bit to do that would be fun. I’m sure I’m not the only one who’d love to see it.

    • I’ve got one for the Iron Princess. I didn’t think of posting it and it may be a little crap (can’t remember what I used to make it). Maybe for the next book.
The Demon Realm… Oh boy. That would be a project and a half.

  2. What world is Death’s Handmaiden in? And loved the new book! I will say though I keep hoping for the next Unobtainium book. Please?

    • It’s a new one. Well, the original idea was something I had about a decade or more ago, but I’ve never published anything based on that idea before.
Unobtainium… Yeah, that’s another one I have to get back to. The second book decided to be difficult.
