Guardian will be coming out real soon now. This is the fifth Ultrahumans book and it’s kind of a pair with the sixth, True Dark, which will be out around the beginning of August.
Guardian will, perhaps unsurprisingly, reveal the truth behind the Guardians, of which Cygnus is one. I decided that the cover should feature Cygnus and feature her it does.
There will be a bunch of new concept art going up once Guardian is out the door and I have True Dark thoroughly nailed down. I’ve got a cluster of new Ultras making their first appearance in True Dark. Things they are a changing.
As for what comes after these two… Well, right now all I’ve got a good fix on is another Ultrahumans book, tentatively titled Liberty, but three in a row is pushing my limits a little. We’ll see where I’m at once True Dark is finalised.
Witches and Ray-Guns 
what font is that? it has the most bizarre ‘N’ i think i’ve ever seen.
It’s called Mason Serif Alt. The title font is the Bold version and the name is in Regular. I decided I liked it. But the ‘N’ is weird, I agree.
i like it too, except for that N. it looks like it belongs in the cyrillic section of the font as И.
the M looks interesting, they should’ve just done the same thing with the N.

While I wouldnt mind seeing a third Ultrahumans book in quick succession, its pretty much the only superhero series I actually enjoy, Im still hoping well get new Thaumatology or Aneka books soon. Also curious about new books for Princeps Venator, Reality Hack, and Gunwitch. Would be nice to have those series get a conclusion before we see more from newer stuff like Sondra Blake and Shil.
I suppose we all have preferences as to what Niall writes next. Personally I’d like to see more Ultrahumans (yay!) Fox and Iron Princess. That said, I don’t care what he writes next as long as he keeps writing. I have three authors I buy automatically when they have a new book out. Niall is one of them. John Scalzi and Jacqueline Carey are the other two. Just saying.
