Happy New Year (2025/26)

I realise most of you will be reading this in the morning of January 1st, or may be reading it while waiting for midnight, but I’m waiting for the explosions to die down before I go to bed, so here we are. I hope 2026 turns out to be good for you, and I hope we make it to 2027 without blowing up the planet.

A 2026 image, just for the hell of it.

  3. Thanks. And a Happy New Year to you.

  4. Thanks and a Happy New Year to you! I hope you have a happy, fulfilling 2026.

  5. Thanks for the two pictures! Welcome back. I went through all of that in 2017. Unbelievably energy sapping. It’s good to have it all behind you. on another tangent, what is your single malt of choice? There are many good ones and I prefer Laphroaig and Ardbeg. Clearly I like the smoky stuff. Just curious. Happy New Year! Hope you stumbled into the right address πŸ˜‚

    • Jura. I am a Jura addict. I generally end up grabbing whichever variant my local supermarket has on offer, but recently they’ve had a 14-year-old malt on offer and it is SMOOTH. Oddly, I think their 12-year-old is smoother, but the older one is good. Of course, smoother means I drink it faster, so I do hope the offer ends soon or I’m going to end up an alcoholic.

      Remember folks, drink responsibly. πŸ™‚

Happy New Years. It actually rained here in Vegas on New Years Eve and during practice for the Formula One race. It rained ore in one day in November than we usually get in a year. I am trying not to look at it as an omen.

Hope you enjoyed the scotch. Even cheap scotch is better than some of the rotgut vodka they sell here in gallon bottles. It tastes, if that is the word for it like it was filtered through old gym shorts.

I look forward to your next novel and pictures. Lord knows we need a distraction
