King Solamet’s Mines is (finally) available. This one is not long and I’ve decided to charge $2.99 for it because of that. I’ll make up for it with The Empress’ Mage which is going to be much longer.
I guess I can take a small brake in my Thamatology series reread and put the Unobtanium series on top of my TBR list. Never quite got to this reading this series, but this second book is as good an excuse as any to start on it.
BTW. nice cover, reminds me a bit of the cover for one of the Misfit books.
Aha! So, you’re the one who bought both. π
I probably used the same set in both pictures. It’s called Enchanted Forest, but I think it makes a good jungle.
Quite possibly π
The pic does indeed make for a good jungle. It makes for a good background without crowding the character model or overwhelming the composition in a virtual sea of green…
Fun read, I quite enjoyed it. I must admit however that you went in a completely different direction than I expected based on the book title. Intentional misdirection? I also really liked where you left things in terms of the story-verse. Lots of interesting directions you could go should you feel so inspired. Hopefully you will. As always, thanks for the wonderful entertainment π
Intentional misdirection? Don’t think so, but I guess you have a point.
The titles of the books in this series are twists of classic works of fiction and I couldn’t not do a ‘King Solomon’s Mines.’
As for the future, yes, there’s the person responsible for a certain metal arm to deal with and the other future event should be obvious to anyone who’s read the book.
It’ll take a while to happen though. Seriously, these books are hard work.
Bought and have already started it. Good so far. Just up to the boat trip so far. Hope you can find the inspiration for a 3rd entry but looking forward to Empress.
I lost the original artwork for the first one’s cover and Amazon makes you reload everything if you change the text. So, the kindle version got a new cover. On Smashwords, I didn’t need to change it, so it didn’t get changed.
King Solametβs Mines are in Tangleroots!? Whoooaa…!
hehehe…

That’s Stonemason for you. Most of his(?) stuff is scenery and it’s always good. The detail is amazing without detracting from what you put in it.

Sort and sweet I think is the saying.
I enjoyed it. 1 thing the review option at the end of book isnβt working on the kindle app.
That is something I really have no control over. π
enjoyed thoroughly – can’t wait for Empress.

The comments about the cover, did you redo the first one? Cause my kindle cover changed for it.

I loved the book. Your gals are always better in leather but we have to make allowances for the heat of the jungle.
